This Direct Aid Program (DAP) grant is a flexible grant that is aimed at supporting small-scale sustainable development projects and activities that are very participatory in nature, and also engage beneficiaries in the design, development, and the implementation of the project.

Direct Aid Program Grant From Australian High Commission In Nigeria 2018/2019 Eligible Sectors

For the purpose of this grant, the eligible sectors include

  • Agriculture
  • Promotion of human rights
  • Education
  • Governance
  • Health
  • Water and sanitation, and
  • Environmental conservation

NOTE: Special attention is given to those projects that;

  1. Tackle gender equality and women empowerment
  2. Address the needs of people with disabilities and other vulnerable groups
  3. Support humanitarian and disaster relief operations
  4. Engage in capacity building activities with tangible benefits to disadvantaged groups

Direct Aid Program Grant From Australian High Commission In Nigeria 2018/2019 Funding Information

Concerning this Direct Aid Program (DAP) grant, the funding limit for an individual project is $60,000 Australian Dollars.

Eligibility Criteria for Direct Aid Program Grant From Australian High Commission In Nigeria 2018/2019

  • Proposals are accepted from all countries of accreditation which include; Benin, Cameroon, Gabon, Gambia, Niger, and Nigeria.
  • The funding is available to all community groups, international or Australian NGOs, private sector establishments, academic institutions, research bodies, libraries, museums, and other organizations that engage in the development activities for no profit.
