This refers to the active implementation of techniques and processes in order to manage wildlife population and/or their habitats. These management projects include:

  • Population survey, monitoring projects, and species inventories.
  • Habitat and wildlife population enhancement.
  • Habitat quality assessment and mapping.
  • Habitat and/or population management projects.
  • The reintroduction of a population where they once occurred.
  1. Research

The research projects must be credible and carried out by qualified and capable individuals with specific objectives. The objectives should help enhance their abilities to sustain habitat and populations of wildlife. The research topics include the following:

  • Population survey, monitoring projects, and species inventories.
  • Species habitat associations, habitat quality, and modeling.
  • The behavior and ecology of species.
  • The development and testing of new techniques.
  • The studies of hunters, as well as their interactions with wildlife and each other.
  • Genetics, diseases, and parasites.
