Specific Responsibilities for the post of Technical Director HIV/AIDS Deputy Chief of Party

  1. When appropriate, act in place of the deputy chief of party.
  2. The deputy chief of party will set direction and set monthly work plan work plan  implementation, and review for development..
  3. will direct efforts to write concept notes and new programs to address emerging health and programming challenges identified by donors, host countries or through the work we do.
  4. To encourage team work that will bring high level performance, creative approaches, review and analysis of information.
  5. He or she must join hands together with partners, donors, as well as stakeholders, including MSH headquarters so as to get an excellent to get the job done.
  6. Contribute to the project knowledge management system.
  7. Advise the deputy chief of party in alignment of human resources with project work plans and emerging SOW from the donors, Management Sciences for Health (MSH) and partners including on external sourcing of human resources and consultants.

 

Job Requirements for the Post of Technical Director Hiv/Aids Deputy Chief of Party

Other Requirements for the Post of Technical Director Hiv/Aids Deputy Chief of Party:

  • Must have a minimum of 8 years’ experience as a senior level manager experience of public health programs in developing countries.
  • Must have an advanced Degree at the Master’s level or above in Public Health, Epidemiology, or a related field is required.
  • Must have ability to build and maintain relationships with senior-level colleagues
  • Must have Demonstrated experience in program management and administration, and contract compliance.
  • Must have Demonstrated strategic agility, diplomacy, conflict management, team building, as well as negotiation skills.
  • Must have Fluency in English
  • Must have In depth experience in HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment and care
  • track record evidence of teams building and speeding joint work in order to achieve goals, meet milestones, and produce high quality written qualitative jobs
  • must be a creative thinker, innovating skills, and have a creative spirits
  • Must have Willingness to travel within Nigeria.
