Enugu is a state in Nigeria located in the south-east. There is numerous tourist attraction in Enugu State. The state was created in 1991 from the Old Anambra state. The name Enugu connote “On top of the hill” as it is regarded as the oldest urban area in Igbo land, with about 7,161 km2 (2,765 sq. m).

It is the 29th largest state in Nigeria. It shares boundaries with Abia state and Imo state in the south, Ebonyi state in the East, Benue state in the Northeast, Kogi state to the Northwest and Anambra state to the West.

    The complex is situated at the south-central pan of the State. It comprises a waterfall, a three-kilometer cave, natural spring and a lake. The multifaceted has a distinct beautification due to its usual setting.

    Awhum waterfall is located at Amaugwe village of Awhum town in Udi Local Government Area of Enugu State.
