2019 NCTU Taiwan Elite Internship Program Application form is out [Fully Funded]

The fully funded international internship in Taiwan will be held at National Chiao Tung University between 2019 Feb. 18 to 2019 Nov. 30. The Taiwan research internships are offered different disciplines. International undergraduate, masters and PhD students can apply for Taiwan international internship.

National Chiao Tung University is considered one of Taiwan’s leading public research universities situated in Hsinchu, Taiwan. Established in 1896 as Nanyang Public School by an imperial edict issued by the Guangxu Emperor, it has been known as “The MIT of the East” because of the 1930s.

How To Apply For the NCTU Taiwan Internship 2019

  • All applicants must first identify an NCTU host professor and obtain the invitation letter before application.
  • List of NCTU professors who might want to host NCTU short-term research application.
  • Application form (typewritten)
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV) in English
  • Research Proposal Of your research at NCTU (1 A4 page only)
  • The Invitation Letter from NCTU supervisor. (The letter is compulsory for the visa process. It should be formal and with professor’s signature, department, email address on it.)
  • Latest “Enrollment Letter” with an official stamp from the home university (or valid student ID card with an expiry date on it, please make sure the enrollment letter should cover your duration of the internship in NCTU)
  • A copy of a valid passport (valid for at least 6 months)
  • A proof issued by the home university that internship is one of the graduation criteria or part, of course, the requirement (Undergraduate students only), it’s compulsory for visa process).
