The Brooke innovation fund for the welfare of working equines is currently available to the all around the world. This innovation fund is only invested in new ideas to improve the welfare of working equines (horses, donkeys, etc) and the lives of those communities that depend on them.

The Brooke innovation fund is specifically for new ideas and methods that will help improve animal welfare. There will be no fund for projects that replicate already existing methods and approaches. All projects chosen must provide a new way of tackling the problems and also must provide a basis for learning either from failures or success.

Eligible Applicants For The Brooke Innovation Fund For The Welfare Of Working Equines

Those eligible to apply for the Brooke innovation fund for the welfare of working equines include teams that have worked for Brooke worldwide, external organizations, and individuals who can show that their idea will help solve the problem affecting working equines and the communities that make use of them. Proposals ranging from £15,000-£35,000 are welcome for projects that will last at most 12 months in duration.

This is really a very competitive process. All applications will be reviewed by an internal international review board and their decision is final on which projects are to be selected.
